Speakaboos - Kids Reading App App Reviews

My first grader loves Speakaboos. She spends hours reading and playing it. I like knowing that I can trust the content to be age appropriate. The new version is fast and looks beautiful.

I downloaded this app for my cranky nephews and they loved it. I went ahead and got them a subscription so they can use it at their place. They like the Thomas stuff and Color song

Speakaboos is a great app for young readers! There are so many interesting and entertaining stories to choose from.

What is wrong with this! I paid for the full version but it crashes all the time!

I loved this app in the beginning. My son would love to re-read his favourites over and over. So a few months, after we had a nice collection, I wanted to put our subscription on hold so we didnt have to pay each month for new ones. Sorry! The second you do that, all of your books disappear. Lame. Also, it crashed often. And their intro screen was annoying and impossible to skip. I wont be subscribing to Speakaboos again.

Im sure these would be great stories but save yourself the download time unless you want to pay a subscription cost.

This app is so longgggggggggggg to load it waisted my time I wish it would load faster and I could have bin enjoying my time outside

I signed up for 1 month subscription and had the access that one initial time. Every time I turnoff the phone- the app reverts back to the "free" version. Very frustrating for the little one. Emailed customer service, havent heard back.

Awesome program.!!! Have been an educator for many years!!! By far the best program I have seen. Would highly recommend it!!

Keeps kids engaged while learning. Well worth the money.

This was a fun story book app. But not worth 80 dollars a year or re occurring 8 dollars a month. 5 stars when free, 2 stars for membership price.

Its a good app, but why have a monthly charge to use if youre not an educator. I use it for my daughters bedtime stories once in a while. Its not worth the subscription if you use it only 3 to four times in a month. Cant you just pay for the app and be done with a subscription. Put more stories out and pay a fee to use it with 4 to 5 new books.

Loads much faster. My five year old loves the Robot stories. Wish there was a way to search story titles.

We bought an annual subscription for the little ones. They love to read alone, together and with their grandmother when we visit. Such a great educational and fun resource.

We originally got this for our 1st grader who was using this app at school. This has been the best investment, for all the kids! Our 2nd grader, kindergartner, and preschooler all love this app. It even works when you dont have Internet access, so this is great for those times when you are traveling, at appointments, etc. I am so pleased with this reading app and program. It reinforces the reading skills they are learning, and all in a fun and inviting format. I am thrilled to say that the kids would rather have a Speakaboos story than watch a movie. I am a happy mom.

Great fun. Really helps enhance the process of learning to read. My grandson and I love it. ( Even when he wants to read and sing the dinosaur song for the 5th time! :-D )

My 2year old loves this app.

Best part is that my sons think its just for fun, missing the educational aspect that is well intertwined with the App.
