Speakaboos - Kids Reading App App Reviews

Perfect app for fun learning. Great for both children and parents! Reassuring to find an app that provides quality and engaging content to future generations. My nephews just LOVE it!!!

I gave my son a subscription to speakaboos recently and hes been going through and exploring the different interactions in each story. The space stories are his absolute favorite. Theres an abundance of stories as well for him to choose from which hes loving. Id highly recommend this app for any parent!

I downloaded for the nephews and they loved it. Coolest part is that the stories are actually educational even though the kiddos think its just fun stuff.

So perfect and easy for my guided reading groups in my 1st grade classroom. Im starting to plan for back-to-school, and its so simple to use this platform to find titles for my small group lessons with the Lexile filter, plus all the reading modes have made it wonderful for my reluctant and emergent readers to enjoy the books that otherwise would have been on a frustrational reading level for them. The word highlighting and text-touch feature are great, too. Planning on making sure my entire grade level team has a subscription this year.

I regret purchasing the year subscription primarily because we are forced to log in every day to access the content which is not convenient especially for young children. Out of several months worth we have used it a handful of times. Fix this and it might be worth the purchase. Content is okay although I wish the read along content was made into the picture rather than an awkward white box. Also the content seems more video based than I would like.

As a teacher, I think this is a fantastic teaching tool.

I have tried several reading apps where it involves $$. I still love, "Read me stories." After that I came across so many which asked subscription. But after a long find finally after read me stories this is absolutely terrific and fantastic for all ages. My daughter is 3 she loves it same as her 6 year old Brother. Love it & just love it. Cant praise enough. Its worth the money as instead of $7 a book ur getting unlimited books in a month. Karen

We enrolled after a free trial period. We paid for 4 months and every time my daughter tried to use the app the app would report that our membership was expired. So we could never use it, nor could we cancel.. Had to get help through apple support to cancel after 4 months of being charged and never able to use.

I just downloaded Speakaboos for my nephew to distract him from games and videos and he loved it! He found the books he liked on cars and trucks, read along, clicked on characters to hear them speak and repeated this over and over until it was time to sleep. Its really nice to see an app that makes reading so fun for young kids and has enough stories to keep their attention.

They didnt include that the app does cost money. My son couldnt read one story without having to start up a monthly payment plan.

Im so upset this app would be amazing if it didnt constantly freeze and Im paying for something I cant use only can use when it decides to work !! Id like my money back

My daughter liked this app at first but lost interest fast. Didnt bother to pay for the subscription cost. Got an email to take a survey on the app and never got the promised Amazon gift card. Wont waste my time trying to help improve a company/app again.

My 18month old love the books

I live overseas and this is a great way for my kids to keep learning English through amazing stories and animation. Enough stories to keep them entertained !

Fabulous program for my two granddaughters, 5 & 6. They love the stories and the games!!!

My daughter loved this app and used it often. After the update, it no longer opens on the iPad she uses. Please tell me what is SO advanced about a video and a reading app that makes this obsolescence necessary. Also, forcing an update that makes the app not work is lousy manners. Youve lost my business.

Our family has gotten hours of enjoyment from this app. Our favorites are the interactive stories but we like the videos too. I like knowing my kids are in a safe and ad free environment when they use Speakaboos. Highly recommended!
