Speakaboos - Kids Reading App App Reviews

I had suggested this app to friends because it was great. Then I saw that suddenly paying the monthly subscription does not get you "full access", suddenly your personal email or Facebook account information and password is necessary for full access. No thanks, that is not right to require! So now stories we have downloaded are grayed out once offline (used to be active and that was great since the subscription was paid for and the story had been downloaded) unless I give some kids app my password for either my personal email or my Facebook account?? Very disappointing now and all the people I suggested this to including me will not be renewing.

I love how it works and my kids love the stories. I HATE having to keep doing the subscription every flipping day! I do the $4.99 one and it still makes me go through all the same crap ever day my kids want to read a story

My kids loved all the stories and characters on the app. It was really easy for my twins to use together and works for long car trips or planes

As an educator, I am always looking for the next best thing to get my students excited and engaged in reading. Speakaboos has truly hooked my students on reading!!! We use the platform in the classroom daily during read alouds and self selected reading time. Every time my students get IPads all we hear around the room is the intro saying "Speakaboos". We really love the read and play stories where we get to interact and have some fun and become the authors apprentice. Thanks for a great classroom resource!

As an elementary school educator this app is phenomenal! In a technology driven world, its now so much more easier to get children to read if its interactive. I have recommended this app to my students, their families and my friends with young children. With these stories and illustrations, children are really engaged in reading! Plus with the new update, its even faster to read! This app is ideal for ages 2-7 as numerous stories are offered at different reading levels. Thank you Speakaboos for this amazing app!

The in story interactions really help keep my daughter engaged. The Robot stories are her favorites!

I Dont like this app... I have EPIC App ... And is fantastic... Youll have one billion books to choose... And that best part is.. You only need pay $4.99 for month... This app is ridiculous .. $7.99 for this??? Only some books... ???

My kids are in love with this app! They love the animation and characters! This app is better than others I have tried because it has really high quality books that arent just boring digital versions of existing paper books. It keeps my kids entertained for hours! Highly recommended!

The stories are so engaging the kids play the stories over and over!

They love all the different stories and keep coming back again and again. I love how the stories keep them interacting with the screen! Theres a a monthly fee but the stories are so good at keeping the kids engaged that I think its worth it!

I am now several months in to a fabulous subscription with SPEAKABOOS! Our tech dept. is in the process of downloading the Speakaboos app to every iPad on our portable classroom carts!!! YAY! How exciting it will be to have all 24 of my first graders using Speakaboos on their iPads! This will take Interactive Read aloud to a whole new level of learning for my students! Thank you SPEAKABOOS!

I have been looking for a great sleep time app for my little girl and as many as I have downloaded and had to delete this one fits the shoe just right! Its inexpensive to get rid of the ads but more importantly are the tunes and the fun and friendly characters on this app. It even has a timer. My daughter loves it and so do I. Highly recommend it.

My son has been complaining that it wont start the story even after one hour waiting; just showing "preparing the app" till he gives up. It has been like that more than three months. I tried to stop the auto renew several times but wasnt an easy process.

My 2 and 4 year old love this app. Keeps them busy and learning for hours!

Wow! Speakaboos has had such a great impact on my classroom. My students are excited about reading, motivated to learn, and their fluency is through the roof since I incorporated Speakaboos in my classroom. The app is wonderful for use at home on tablets are phones. Its the perfect way to engage your children in a meaningful, educational way while they have fun! I highly recommend you try Speakaboos. You and your child will LOVE it!

This app keeps my two grands ( 3.5 and 1.5 ) mesmerized. There are songs with words, read to me books, interactive stories and read it yourself books. Worth every penny.

This app was AWESOME and even helped my son when he was learning to read. Suddenly we cant do anything without subscribing?! It was free when I downloaded it a year ago... Disappointed because we had to delete it.
